The two black sealing O-rings, diameter 46 mm, are mounted in the extraction head gasket and the filter unit.
The black ADDIPURE sealing O-ring in the extraction head gasket ensures that the extraction agent cannot leak upwards, meaning that the extraction agent flows down through the ADDIPURE PEO extractor and out via the opening in the filter unit with the 3-layer ADDIPURE PEO filter system.
The second black ADDIPURE sealing O-ring in the filter unit ensures that the extraction agent can only pass through the round opening via the 3-layer filter system.
The ADDIPURE PEO extractor black sealing O-rings are resistant against extraction agents such as ADDIPURE Dimethyl Ether (DME) and ADDIPURE n-Butane.
The sealing O-rings may develop fine tears, depending on the number of extractions performed or the age of the rings. If the sealing O-rings become hard and brittle like this, they need to be replaced. This will ensure that the extraction agent flows down correctly through the extraction tube and out through the filter unit.
Guarantees the highest possible purity levels of the extract, through a combination of the 3-layer PEO filter system with ADDIPURE Dimethyl Ether DME (99.99% purity) or ADDIPURE n-Butane (99.39% purity) and ADDIPURE PEO extractors.
